"Motif nr. 1" is a famous motif from Rockport, Massachusetts, painted by hundreds of artists. It is a red shack sitting near the edge of the port.
I was more interested in the boat with the rocky bagground. My watercolor teacher laughed and said, that I was problably the first artist to paint "Motif nr. 1" without the motif".
The old Ford on the right was painted in 1975. I used a photo I took from a veterans car parade and made up the snowy background.
